- Project Brief: Produce print materials that elevate a dental laboratory’s brand through refined typography, editorial layouts, and premium visual consistency.
Print design in clinical industries carries a quiet responsibility. It has to feel credible without feeling cold. EDUARDOFAVA's print system uses restraint, typography, and composition to land somewhere between medical authority and editorial sophistication.
Typography anchors the whole identity. A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick-thin strokes brings an editorial weight to the layouts, pulling the brand closer to luxury publishing than clinical communication. Even at minimal scale, it commands attention.
That same restraint carries through the palette. Black, white, and warm off-whites keep the system clean and consistent, letting photography breathe without competing for attention and giving the whole thing a quiet confidence.
Layout does a lot of the heavy lifting here. Generous margins and a strict grid guide your eye through each piece naturally, producing a reading experience that feels calm and deliberate, which mirrors the precision behind the work itself.
Photography gets the same careful treatment. Tight crops on smile close-ups shift the images away from purely clinical reference material, turning them into something closer to editorial portraiture.
Where the system really distinguishes itself is in the print finishing. Blind embossing on key brand elements and subtle tonal ink variations add a tactile layer that communicates quality through touch, something no screen-based identity can replicate.
