For the 12th edition of Leiria Film Fest, Paulo Graça develops a vibrant and inclusive print identity that frames cinema as an art form accessible to all ages. The visual system embraces a naïve, illustrative aesthetic, combining bold color blocks, abstract symbols, and hand-drawn marks that echo both children’s drawings and the tactile qualities of analog film.
Simple geometric shapes, expressive line work, and saturated blues, reds, yellows, and pinks create a dynamic rhythm across posters, programs, badges, and signage. This cohesive yet flexible system unifies all festival touchpoints while reinforcing the festival’s spirit of imagination, creativity, and shared cultural experience.
Paulo Graça is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Tomar, Portugal. Known for his handcrafted, culturally inspired work, he often designs visual identities for festivals and exhibitions, blending drawing and design to create expressive, accessible experiences.
