- Project Brief: Create a playful restaurant brand identity that transforms everyday lunch experiences through bold illustrations, vibrant print materials, and cohesive visual storytelling.
A food and beverage print system works best when a brand's energy remains consistent across every touchpoint. Designed by tenvr, MIDDAY achieves this through a loud and cheerful two-color palette of electric yellow and deep green.
The chunky, rounded wordmark perfectly matches the playful illustration style. Bold green outlines of characters enjoying sandwiches appear consistently across menus, business cards, and uniforms to maintain a unified visual language.
A line-drawn deli facade serves as a core brand asset, establishing a strong sense of place across printed materials before a physical location even exists. Alongside it, clean menu typography relies on clear hierarchy rather than fighting the surrounding illustrations for attention.
Staff apparel brings the brand to life in motion. Branded white tees, paired with green aprons and caps, seamlessly extend the visual identity from the kitchen out onto the street without needing a separate set of design rules.
