When I review commercial video design, I look at how pacing, typography, and human presence work together to deliver a message quickly and memorably.
OIQ PUB 2024 succeeds by using a disciplined visual system that feels energetic without becoming chaotic.
- Visual Focus & Framing: I like the consistent use of centered, grayscale portraits with subtle zooms. This restraint keeps attention on people first, giving the campaign an emotional anchor while supporting rapid transitions between subjects.
- Color & Contrast: The electric blue accents work as structural elements rather than decoration. Paired against monochrome portraits, they create instant hierarchy and inject momentum without overwhelming the frame.
- Kinetic Typography: Typography carries real narrative weight here. Fragmented words like “IMPOSSIBLE” animate with purpose, reinforcing themes of challenge and progress through motion rather than explanation.
- Pacing & Transitions: The fast-paced edits and collage-style transitions maintain energy across the spot. I appreciate how split screens and layered compositions introduce variety while staying visually controlled.
