- Project Brief: Redesign BOKU’s finance website to present its global payments network through clearer information architecture, editorial visuals, and intuitive navigation.
Scale is the hardest thing for a fintech site to show, because 200+ payment methods and 60+ countries flatten into a statistic the moment they hit a headline. Goodface's Boku redesign treats that reach as a reading problem, building an editorial system that lets an enterprise buyer follow the network one proposition at a time.
The architecture works one proposition per scroll. Boku's three promises, grow globally on one integration, keep compliance handled, and settle through unified reporting, each get a resolved view instead of fighting inside a dense product page.
The type carries the page through oversized serif headlines and a video-led hero. A serif reads as a deliberate outlier in a field that defaults to sans-serif sameness, and the scale sets the hierarchy that a wall of bullets never could.
Custom illustration and fine line work run through the layout as a motif that traces money across borders. The pattern threads section to section without a literal flowchart, so the single-network idea stays present as a quality of the page rather than a claim in a headline.
The palette holds Boku's orange against a purple-to-pink spectrum on off-white. Warm accents give the brand a pulse, while the restraint protects the credibility a publicly listed fintech needs to project.
Proof lands early through the logos buyers already trust, Meta, Spotify, Netflix, Microsoft, and Sony. Fronting recognizable brands and an ISO 27001 badge answers the procurement question before the pitch starts.
The results section wins on concrete outcomes over adjectives. One case adds 1 million subscribers in 30 days across 10 African markets, another grows revenue 40% in Thailand on PromptPay QR, and a third settles across 25 countries more than 30 days faster.
The money-movement block turns the hardest sell into a three-step sequence: collect, convert, payout. Laying out FX and settlement as an ordered flow behind one API makes the complexity look managed, which is the reassurance a merchant weighing a core integration wants.
Every scroll chases the same job: make a sprawling payment network feel like one clear piece of infrastructure. Read the proposition, trust the brands, weigh the numbers, and watch the plumbing resolve into a single integration.
