Burger & Sauce is a chain of fast-food restaurants in Birmingham, UK. A Paperock-designed website embodies the laidback, fun nature of this type of popular food: it is hip, casual and amusing while making sure to provide enough eye candy to tease the taste buds.
It opens with a decidedly black-and-white screen, with the only colored element being the food at the center as the user rotates them in a carousel gallery. The highlighted menu item comes in its own color, so every few seconds, a homepage takes on a slightly new look.
Beneath this section, a more elaborate approach gains traction as large photos in various settings take the stage. Video and hand-written testimonials provide some variety. And when the user is ready to order, the main navigation sports a mega menu approach in the Delivery section.
