An e-commerce site should feel like the brand it sells while still getting shoppers to checkout. Blacklead Studio built Serotoninn's store to read as "where glam meets grunge," pairing that art-and-rebellion identity with retail mechanics that still function.
Navigation stays quietly conventional under the styling. A persistent top bar keeps Menu, Shop All, Categories, Search, Favorites, and Bag in reach, so the torn-paper drama never costs the shopper their bearings or their cart.
Motion does the concept's heavy lifting. The ripped seam that splits the hero splits on scroll, product images swap on hover, and a lips-shaped video mask animates the campaign, giving the page rhythm without burying the buy path.
The technical build balances art and commerce. Editorial type, "5-HT" serotonin tags, and bold color sit on a standard grid of product cards with clear prices and best-seller flags, keeping a limited-edition boutique both on-brand and shoppable end to end.
