We are a non-profit that experienced rapid growth and facing an increasingly complex landscape of grant restrictions and financial reporting requirements - we were in need of an experienced consultant to support us in leveling up and streamlining our bookkeeping and finance processes. Dean connected us with Nancy from his team, and Nancy has been absolutely incredible. She not only guided us in untangling our financials but also in updating our processing and implementing best practices. What can I say about Barta Business Group? I work in the live events industry, and to say that the last few years have been temultuous would be an understatement. They took the mess I had made while closing one business, and opening another, and laid it all out straight. I was running on a very basic invoicing software, and they got me up to speed with something professional I can use with any bookkeeper, and my business is running so much more smoothly because of it. We're a small, national, nonprofit member association with a cranky database and lots of internal financial quirks. Barta Business Group stepped in to clean up our books and get us on the right track. Within a few short months, Dean was able to create better systems for financial accountability, wrangle our database into clear and consistent shape so we knew where we stood on income and expenses, provide support to our nascent board treasurer, and most of all, do all of this with a great attitude.
