We talked to numerous marketing firms across the US and most were either inept or wouldn’t talk to us because we’re a startup.When I initially contacted Ethic, I was so used to having a bad experience with other marketing firms, I bluntly said “we’re a startup that needs a lot of help with brand recognition, but we’re on a very limited budget. Can you help?”. The owner Jeff said “let’s talk”. We spent the next hour discussing our business operation and different marketing strategies. We then had a follow up call in which Jeff came prepared with a full presentation and spent the afternoon explaining each line item step by step of how to execute our short term marketing goals. He did all this on his own time for nothing in return. We do not have an agreement in place and there's no guarantee of future business when working with a startup.I can't thank Jeff and the Ethic team enough. They will be our “go to” for all our future marketing needs but it's not because of the free time they gave us, but rather their level of expertise. Our company launched service in January 2023 and currently has 400 app downloads. I will give a follow up review in one year to showcase the value of this experience. If you’re looking for a high level marketing company contact Ethic.

Hired Nikalabs a few years back because my website was a mess and I hated it. It was confusing, cluttered, and just straight up ugly!Originally I found these guys on yelp and I wanted to give them some love on Google My Business too!I own a carpet cleaning business in Santa Clara and I needed to find a company I could trust and feel comfortable with to build a great website. I called and talked to Ali over the phone I know that this was the right company and boy I'm glad I chose Nika Labs. I told Ali over the phone these exact words, "I want to build a clean, simple, yet elegant website" I wanted something that will be easy on the eyes and intuitive for my customers. I also expressed that there were two important tools that I absolutely needed 1) an online calendar 2) an online estimator tool. Ali, with confidence said, "We can do it no problem and we will optimize the site for both desktop and mobile web browsing". Ali's confidence assured me Nika Labs was the company to hire! He also said that once they are done I would be able to edit most of the text myself because they use Wordpress to build the site. I was sold and hired them to build the site.Ali and Nika Labs not only delivered they over delivered. They built a website I absolutely love! They listened to my every concern. My website is clean, simple, and yet elegant just the way I imagined it to be. I 100% love my site and can't stop looking at it. We hit some bumps in the road but Ali and Nika labs worked through them all. The store is full of curious, cool, and mysterious handcrafted items, most of which are made by the owner herself, Allison.What's special (and about damn time) is Liminal’s dedication to embracing and celebrating the unique perspectives of neurodiversity. As a creative person who has had trouble finding "my people" since moving to Portland, I've never felt more at home in a space. Allison, who runs the shop, is welcoming and we became fast friends.I attended one of her card-making workshops and had such a great experience. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and people made scrappy collages while others made beautiful little masterpieces. It was inspiring to be part of such a diverse, creative environment. I also attended a movie night, complete with a projector, retro lawn chairs, and good energy.Allison is a creative powerhouse and it's contagious. If you're looking for a welcoming, creative community or just want to find sick treasures - yes TREASURES, Liminal PDX is absolutely worth a visit. If you’ve made it to the bottom of this review, I will personally shake your hand if we ever cross paths. And if you don't like shaking hands, I will tip my hat to you. Stuart and his team are very impressive to work with. We came to them with a concept and very preliminary (Kindergarten-level) drawings. They were able to take that plan and deliver something market ready in a few short meetings. They also helped with the supplier meetings to ensure tolerances, resin mixtures, and other details we had no idea about - were done to the level we were expecting. The end result was a physical product that carried two patents (which they helped with, too) and something truly innovative to an otherwise mature, sleepy category. I was very impressed by how the Prime Studio team worked and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. In fact, I've referred a few people there way already.
