Null Station produced a 90-second 3d launch video, and the entire process took around 30 days. In the beginning, we had 23 calls with the team to discuss our product, our target audience, and my thought process regarding what the video should look like. On the second call with Null Station, we discussed the team's thoughts and reviewed the work they had put together. We went through the pieces the team came up with, describing what would be suitable for the video. On our third call with Null Station, the team presented a script on paper stating the video's dialogues and how the story should be laid out. The team allowed me to make changes throughout the process. About ten days after we started the project, the script was confirmed, and Null Station produced the actual video. The video involved in-house voiceover, and the team hired a professional person to do it. Once the video was done, I could request a couple of changes. Null Station managed the video process from start to finish, including visualization and sound edition. We presented the video created by Null Station to around 40 people, including our team's executives and persons from our target audience. We could see how the audience's faces lit up when watching the video. Null Station's work was top-notch. I didn't request many changes to the final video because their work was excellent. Null Station's quality was fantastic. I am still working with them and would love to recommend them if anyone is looking for a reliable Animation service for there business. Funny enough I've worked with them on several advertising projects too they always come up with weird ideas that somehow become some of the successful campaigns for my company history haha. Platform Expertise: The primary issue was the mismatch between their purported expertise and the actual skill set provided. I was promised Squarespace experts, but the team assigned to my project seemed unfamiliar with the platform. This led to a significant portion of the billed hours being allocated to research and development tasks that a Squarespace-proficient team might have completed much more efficiently. Design Quality: Additionally, the quality of the design work delivered was below par. I found myself needing to step in and handle the majority of the design work, which was unexpected and time-consuming. Communication Breakdown: There were also communication issues, particularly with the VP of Sales, who often seemed unaware of our previous email exchanges. This resulted in repetitive conversations and a general feeling of inefficiency. Billing Concerns: My greatest concern was with the billing structure. I was charged based on hours spent, which, given the lack of Squarespace expertise, led to unnecessary costs for my business without delivering the expected results. Advice to Potential Clients: For those considering Concetto Labs, I recommend requesting detailed case studies of their work, particularly in your specific field. Its also crucial to communicate your expectations clearly to avoid similar situations. Conclusion: In summary, while I believe Concetto Labs might have the potential for good work, my experience was far from satisfactory. It involved minimal output for maximal time investment and financial expenditure, which was especially challenging during my business's start-up phase. It was a costly enterprise engaging their services and I would never recommend their services.

The engagement was contractually expected to be completed within approximately five months. However, the actual duration extended to nearly two years, representing a substantial deviation from the agreed timeline. From a structural perspective, the Brand Style Guidelines were not delivered in a complete or usable form. Essential elements, such as a defined Color System, were missing, resulting in the absence of a coherent visual framework from the outset. Despite this, subsequent deliverables were developed, which led to inconsistencies across the project. Several files provided contained technical errors and were not suitable for professional or commercial use. The requested corrections were not additional services, but necessary adjustments to meet minimum professional standards. Additionally, key agreed deliverables were not provided, including 3D mockups, video production and the website. During the course of the project, certain deliverables required waiting periods of up to one month, yet were still delivered with errors, indicating deficiencies in both project management and quality control processes. In contrast, comparable corrections and adjustments were completed independently within a matter of hours, highlighting a significant discrepancy in execution efficiency. A substantial portion of the total project fee (approximately 90%) was requested and paid before the initial phase had been properly completed. While certain isolated matters arose during the project and were resolved within a short timeframe, these do not reasonably account for the overall duration of nearly two years. Following the conclusion of the project, independent third-party designers reviewed the materials and identified deficiencies requiring correction, completion and partial re-execution.
