My first experience with 4Design was working with Lee and Robbie on the Solarscan Melanoma Detection system for Polartechnics in the early 2000s. Black Flag carried us from concept to production on a very complex website with multiple interest holders. Designing a website for the California Department of Education means that we serve a varied user base and must adhere to the highest accessibility standards. Black Flag took input from internal teams, educators, and other interested parties that would be accessing and using the site. They adapted their designs to meet the needs of various types of users, coming up with not only attractive design elements, but created code that added automation to eliminate some of the manual updates. I’m restoring my great grandfathers 1929 international truck and the pot metal housing that holds the distributor to the side of the generator was cracked and I could not find that part anywhere.
