When our organization was presented with an opportunity to support our out of work community members, we jumped at the chance to help organize an event that would raise money for our friends and neighbors through the Southside C.A.R.E.S. fund. We did not have a plan for how we would promote the event (a virtual concert by Leon Bridges and friends), and the team at Schaefer Advertising Co. immediately jumped on board to create professional graphics for us - not only to describe the fund and help us promote our goals, but also to frame and be the "setting" of the live concert! It looked beautiful, it was professionally done, the team was responsive to our ideas and needs and in the end it was a cohesive and recognizable campaign. Every experience I've had with Crema has always been a positive one. And every employee I've met there have been incredibly nice, thoughtful, and great to talk to. They have a very cool office space in the Crossroads with great views of KC that just makes you want to hang out there! In short, they seem to really care about people and that carries into their work, judging by how I was able to see their process for developing solutions for their clients at a workshop they held. Using the design sprint methodology, and healthy doses of design thinking, humanistic perspectives, diversity, and pragmatism, they clearly have spent a great deal of effort honing a highly efficient development strategy that makes finding creative solutions a reliable science. It gave me a lot of ideas to bring back to my own projects and meetings! I definitely recommend their design sprint workshop and can only imagine they would be a great company to have tackling your company's challenges.

The Crema office is very cool. Lots of modern touches with a great view of the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts. I recently attended a Design Sprint workshop and had a great time! It was a unique experience and a great tool for solving even the most complex problems. I'm hoping to utilize it in my current role. I have been using the buildfire mobile app platform for over 3 years now, and this platform is amazing. I've tried other platforms. But, nothing comes close to Buildfire. The features and additional functionality are far superior than any other app platform on the market. Both Sean Hamasha my account manager and Mark Wyatt my customer support specialist are a pleasure to work with. Each of them provide different roles helping me. Most of the glowing reviews here don’t seem to be from real clients. My experience was the opposite.This company is grossly incompetent. They charged high fees but delivered sub-par work, riddled with delays and headaches that continued even after the contract ended.They were hired to design a web app, but the end product was so poor that I had to bring in engineers to fix the mess they left behind. There were issues at every stage of the project, from design to deployment.What stings the most is that I was the one who recommended them to my team because a friend knew the owner. I deeply regret that recommendation.The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that the team, Lanre especially, were at least cooperative — but cooperation is pointless (and frankly annoying) when the work is fundamentally flawed.My advice: stick to using them only for basic website creation, and hire a skilled freelancer for more advanced projects.My advice to Chisom: It’s unfortunate that our experience turned out so poorly, because your company is a great concept with a lot of potential. Protect the brand you’ve worked so hard to build — the sweat and tears show — by investing in skilled engineers and raising delivery standards. Otherwise, you risk frustrated clients, avoidable disputes, and damage to the reputation you’ve worked to establish.

RUN AWAY from this company! Supposedly located in California. They sold me a package to design the branding, website, and social media for my company for $1500.00. "EVERYTHING" for $1500.00. Have paid over $6000.00 and I have NO control over the material I paid for. They send you everything in formats you cannot use or convert. They want to keep a hold of you to keep asking for money!!!!!! NEVER send anything to print through them!!! Ordered some business cards and brochures and have never received the brochures. To this day I have not received a single invoice or receipt of anything of what I have paid, including the design of the logo, the purchase of the domain and many other things. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I believe this company is a criminal enterprise. They are also known as Creative Company and Sketch Profs. Creative Company made a $2,500 unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account. When I protested the transaction, Uptown Logo Design provided a fake receipt, fake transaction and activity logs and fake emails supporting the charge to my account. It was an elaborate and thorough fraud. I'm sure they've used similar fabricated documents before with other people they've ripped off. I reported them to the FTC and FBI.

So sad that they can’t even make it right with a customer My first time experience with this company they told you what you wanted to hear. To sign up with their company offered great rates. Than gave you great rates for another offer they did but come to find out the next day with a senior analyst, they didn’t offer those services any longer for what they said for the additional but came back in the thousands of dollars for the next step up program. When I declined the offer several times. That upset the senior analyst he kept calling me Wendy when the day before I told him my name was Mondae. So several times after correcting him what my name was. He started calling me names like we were in high school putting me down left and right. His response oh I’m sorry Tuesday Wednesday. My husband told me to hang up because he was very disrespectful. So I hung up then he called me back and started calling me more names saying Friday I’m so sorry that we couldn’t make this work out for you but your company will get no where. So I hung up again then he called back again but I never answered. Then he proceeded on leaving me a text. His text read Best of LUCk Mondae😂…. I was just Joshin you.. Good luck figuring all this out. Very unprofessional. Than I we called to complain to upper management but they didn’t seem to concerned about how their employee treated me. Save your money there is company’s out there that don’t need to bad mouth other companies or lie about what they are where you should be with the platform. Because the senior analyst also told me that he would have my business up there within days unlike the other company I had for 2 months all ready going on 3 and that company should of had me on the top by now. I researched it and it does take several months to get up there. So new companies don’t believe what apex people have to tell you they are ok with their employees lying to you not only once but several times just to get your business. Totally wrong to take advantage of new smaller companies you should be ashamed of yourselves. Then when I was talking to the woman supervisor I asked to talk to his supervisor her response was I can let his supervisor know but that’s all I can do. Horrible first time experience. Very unprofessional and disrespectful all the way around.
