Berry Network has a long and illustrious history that dates back to the foundation of the L.M. Berry and Company was founded in 1910. Loren M. Berry pioneered the idea of selling advertising in telephone directories at the time. Berry Network, a subsidiary of The Berry Company, was founded in 1960 to provide Yellow Pages account services to national accounts. Berry Network and The Berry Company were purchased by its main client, BellSouth, in 1986. BellSouth was bought by AT&T in 2007, and Berry Network was sold to YP Holdings in early 2012. Dex Media acquired YP in 2017, renaming it DexYP. In 2019, DexYP was rebranded Thryv, Inc. Berry Network continues to be Thryv's advertising agency subsidiary.
