Ecrin Digital is an independent design and engineering studio, founded in 2023 by Alexis Chân Gridel, a member of the Awwwards Young Jury 2026. The studio is registered in Mâcon, France, and works fully remote with clients in Europe, Israel and the United States.
We build two things: Awwwards-level marketing and product websites (Astro, Next.js, React, Sanity, GSAP, Three.js, React Three Fiber), and iOS and Android apps from a single React Native and Expo codebase, with native modules when a product needs them. Everything is custom code, delivered to the client's own repository, with no platform lock-in. Alexis leads every project personally, from the first call to launch, and brings in trusted specialists when a project calls for it.
Selected work: the development of the Viewz website, an AI-native finance platform that raised $7M (shipped in 4 weeks, 5/5 review from their CMO on Clutch); the hear.ai website (Awwwards Honorable Mention, CSS Winner Site of the Day); the full redesign of Montec, an industrial and aerospace company; Aura Agence, a street art agency; and Doodraw, the animated drawing app we co-founded, with 86,000+ installs on iOS, Android and Windows.
Studio recognition: CSS Winner STAR, CSS Design Awards Special Kudos, Netty Awards 2025 Best Small Web Development Agency.
Pricing: Launch Sprint (premium website) from EUR 6,000 to EUR 20,000, usually 6 to 12 weeks. Engineering Retainer at EUR 3,000 per month. Smaller projects welcome from EUR 500. Mobile apps are quoted after a short scoping call.
