🚨 Scam Alert 🚨This company is a 100% scam. They contacted me multiple times claiming I had over $1,000 in parking tickets and insisted that I send them an email and provide a code they would read over the phone.I went directly to ServiceOntario, and they confirmed that they never work with outside agencies to collect money for parking tickets. If you get a call like this, do not share any personal information and report it to the proper authorities. This company is shady and feels like a total scam. They called me out of the blue from an unknown number, didn’t even introduce themselves properly, and immediately asked for my personal address “to verify my identity.” Then they claimed I had four unpaid traffic tickets from past years—but I’ve never received any tickets in the mail.I asked for official documentation by email or mail, and they said they’d send it. They never did.Instead, they kept calling me for days, leaving weird voicemail messages with no details, just asking me to call back. When I finally answered again, they read off dates and a license plate that wasn’t mine. I told them it wasn’t me, and their only response was that I had to go to the City of Toronto to fix it myself. When I asked again for the documents, I eventually received a spammy email with blurry, low-resolution images of tickets and a letter—all of which had the wrong name, wrong address, and wrong license plate. To make things worse, the email they sent came from a no-reply address, so I couldn’t even respond. This company either has completely wrong information or is engaging in unethical, possibly fraudulent practices. I don’t trust them at all. If you get a call from GateStone, be very cautious. "Jan Tse's Review Sourced from Google
I received a bill from FedEx and was shocked by that because I had not requested any business through FedEx, I tried to resolve this issue to no avail, FedEx then sent my name to Gatestone, I called them and tried speaking to a customer service representative at the company and he was extremely rude.He was more concerned about why I was calling with an unknown number. I just had one of the most disturbing and unprofessional encounters with a company I’ve ever experienced and it was with Gatestone. They’ve been repeatedly calling my phone, never leaving a voicemail, never providing any information about who they are or why they’re calling. Just blank calls. Today, I finally answered one, and it only got worse.A woman on the line immediately asked, “For security and privacy, what’s your address?” No introduction, no explanation of who she was, or what the call was about. That alone set off alarm bells. So I asked, reasonably, “What’s your name?” Her response? Complete evasion she refused to give her name and quickly snapped, “Whatever. If you don’t want to state your address, I will hang up now.”And then she hung up.What kind of company operates like this? No identification, no professionalism, and no transparency. It felt like a scam call from a fly-by-night operation not a legitimate company. I’ve never dealt with such disrespectful, shady, and borderline threatening behavior from a caller claiming to be from a business.Honestly, this whole thing was horrifying and it makes you wonder how many vulnerable people they try to manipulate with these aggressive and secretive tactics. If this is how Gatestone conducts its business, they should be investigated.Avoid at all costs. "Tanhar Rashid's Review Sourced from Google
This company keeps calling and leaving messages with their phone number and address with absolutely no other information to tell me what these calls are about. When I call it back they don’t pick up. Apparently I owe fedex $16? LOL. This is not really an effective way to collect funds. They make it so hard to make the payment and it’s just so damn fishy when you do get a hold of someone. I’m a nut shell I won’t be paying this because you all are unprofessional. "Sheeba Syed's Review Sourced from Google
