They are punctual, thorough, thoughtful, and - most importantly - kind and respectful. Working with individuals who have experienced trauma is not an easy road to navigate when asking survivors to re-tell their story on film but they blew it out of the water being patient, repeating themselves when necessary, and being reassuring because confidence in front of the camera is not something everyone has. Besides being professional, Michelle, David, and Mike are just good people, period. A participant of ours was quiet, reluctant, and so unsure of herself at the onset of filming but by the time the morning came to an end, she was the complete opposite. They created a monster - in the best way possible. :) Each of them made her feel so comfortable - it was awesome to see it happen right in front of my eyes.
