Peppered Pixels is a web and graphic design studio powered by Olga Mikko, a professional storyteller, designer, and award-winning communicator.
Born in Moscow and long based in Canada, I grew up surrounded by books and fascinated by the production magic of publishing houses. That curiosity naturally extended to the visual world - through photography and later graphic design - shaping my approach to editorial layouts, book covers, and websites.
Before running Peppered Pixels full-time, I worked in journalism, communications, and graphic design, helping organizations explain complex ideas in simple, engaging ways. That background still informs everything I do: design is never just visual, it is narrative.
Today, I work as a full-time web designer and a book cover designer, collaborating with the most amazing clients across the globe.
