After complying with employment contingencies, my offer of employment was rescinded from the manager of HR for requesting accommodation documentation in writing so that I could share with my Dr.The manager at first moved back my start date until she “received a note from my doctor” , however without knowing internal business practice, I wouldn’t know what the doctors note would be needed to accommodate.Unethical and illegal business practices are clearly on display.Edit in response:Knowing the laws regarding ADA, you cannot cancel my interview based on my disclosed disabilities (which HR did), and when the issue was heightened, the manager allowed me to interview but refused to allow me to start "without a doctor's note" I provided VA forms to verify my status and complied with the contractual contingencies. HR refused to provide which accomodation/s would be necessary for my employment to include my doctor. Then called me when I stated I wouldn't be available and "fired" me for not answering my phone for "inability to communicate". I would review this issue at hand and update HR to become compliant with legal guidelines regarding disabilities instead of attempting to whitewash illegal practices.
