Unmatched fertility, famous peaks, edges thrillingly yet-to-be-mapped. Everyone and their cousin are jockeying for entry, but I can't stress this enough: it's a delicate and strongly governed ecosystem. You don't just get to waltz inside.

The only way to cross that sacred threshold is to get your documents in order and apply. This can be a bit of a nightmare for some, but to me, the process is all pride, joy, bread, and butter.
