WOW! Working with Crema was a dream come true -- literally! Rarely have I had the opportunity to engage with a partner who so actively listens to its client's vision, considers ways address the request, then magically brings it to life with such finesse... that's exactly what Crema did. With a tight turnaround time and a very public launch, Crema created a beautiful user interface, backend database, and promotional display that activated my product and made it fun and easy to use while perfectly representing my brand. Every experience I've had with Crema has always been a positive one. And every employee I've met there have been incredibly nice, thoughtful, and great to talk to. They have a very cool office space in the Crossroads with great views of KC that just makes you want to hang out there! Crema seems to highly prioritize their company culture by putting on events and having a heathy work/life balance. In short, they seem to really care about people and that carries into their work, judging by how I was able to see their process for developing solutions for their clients at a workshop they held. Using the design sprint methodology, and healthy doses of design thinking, humanistic perspectives, diversity, and pragmatism, they clearly have spent a great deal of effort honing a highly efficient development strategy that makes finding creative solutions a reliable science. It gave me a lot of ideas to bring back to my own projects and meetings! I definitely recommend their design sprint workshop and can only imagine they would be a great company to have tackling your company's challenges.

The Crema office is very cool. Lots of modern touches with a great view of the Kauffman Center for Performing Arts. I recently attended a Design Sprint workshop and had a great time! It was a unique experience and a great tool for solving even the most complex problems. I'm hoping to utilize it in my current role. Justin was a great facilitator and I would recommend using Crema for any Design Sprint needs or even attending the workshop yourself. It was also a great networking opportunity. Highly recommended!

I started working with SoftDoes when our product had already grown beyond the point where small fixes were enough. We needed to rethink several parts of the system and make sure the next stage of growth would not create even more technical debt.The team got into the project fast. Within the first few weeks, they helped us identify the main bottlenecks, clean up several fragile integrations, and improve the parts of the platform that were slowing us down the most.One practical result was that a key operation that used to take around 4-5 minutes now takes less than a minute. I also saw a noticeable drop in recurring technical issues after the release.What I liked most was the way they worked with us. Very little ceremony, clear communication, good technical judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.I’d be happy to work with SoftDoes again on another complex software project.

My experience with SoftDoes has been extremely disappointing. Their communication is terrible, the people I dealt with were highly unprofessional, and their pricing is absolutely outrageous compared to the value of the work being delivered.One of my biggest concerns is the company’s lack of transparency. From what I’ve observed, their development work appears to be outsourced to people in Ukraine through another company called Come Back Agency. Even when I searched for SoftDoes online, its website appeared to redirect to Come Back Agency.Take a look at their LinkedIn yourself. They present themselves as a Kansas City-based company, yet I couldn’t find a single employee listed as being based in Kansas City. That raises serious questions about their business structure, where their team actually operates, and who you’re really paying to develop your software.My interactions with the CEO, Orest, were particularly unpleasant. I found him extremely arrogant, dismissive, and condescending. He speaks to customers as though they’re beneath him. Rather than addressing legitimate concerns professionally, his attitude made an already frustrating experience even worse.Their Google reviews also raised serious red flags for me. Several reviewer profiles appeared to have AI-generated profile pictures, and the reviews themselves read as though they were written by ChatGPT rather than genuine customers. Many of these accounts had only ever reviewed SoftDoes.After I confronted them about these concerns, I noticed that some profile pictures had been changed to what appeared to be stock images, and the accounts had gained an additional review of random places. I cannot independently verify who operates these accounts, but the timing and patterns made me seriously question the authenticity of their online reputation.Nothing about my experience with SoftDoes has inspired trust. If you’re looking for custom software development, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Verify who you’re actually doing business with, who will be developing your software, and what you’re paying for.
