- Project Brief: Design a mobile app that enhances personal wellness through intuitive navigation and emotionally supportive user experience.
A wellness app earns a mother's attention by treating her time as the scarce resource it actually is. FORNER's design for Mavie builds around that constraint, creating a platform where self-care doesn't require an hour of uninterrupted quiet to be worth opening.
High-contrast editorial typography sets the tone immediately. A palette of earthy greens, soft creams and muted blues backs it up, giving the app a design-conscious feel without the self-seriousness that usually comes attached to the wellness category.
Content cards and a clean hierarchy put recipes and workout sessions within one or two taps. The layout assumes the window to use them is small and closing, so it never asks the user to orient herself before she can start.
Mavie sits honestly inside the tension between high-end aesthetic and the actual chaos of modern motherhood. The design finds its footing there, building something useful out of a contradiction most wellness brands prefer to ignore.
