BEAUTIFUL CARCASS’ logo design is a sincere, visceral, and poignant reflection of the captivating dance, music, and theater show it represents. With thoughtful symbolism, it embodies the complexities of living in a body perceived as female.
Assigned with the task, Nico Tower Studios designed a gritty thorax illustration in deep black coloring, punctuated by white spaces along the spine. This imagery exudes a sense of rawness and vulnerability, emphasized by the delicate, transparent quality of the bones that make up the emblem.
To draw the viewers' attention to the show's title, the designer strategically placed two red dots on both sides of the typography. Though subtle, these punctuations stand out against the emblem’s monochromatic color scheme.
The show's title, BEAUTIFUL CARCASS, is stylized in an uppercase sans-serif font, beautifully positioned as the illustration’s backbone. It serves as a striking contrast to the emblem’s fragile ribs, alluding to strength and resilience.
