  • Project Brief: Create a luxury logo identity that positions Russells as a fashion-forward pet lifestyle brand with a premium cultural presence.

A luxury logo for a pet-fashion label has to read as fashion first and pet second. Yago Ferreira Studio's mark for Russells flips that hierarchy. The silhouette stacks a sawtooth jaw, a pointed ear and a flag-shaped tongue into one chunky geometric shape.

Negative space carries the face. An X eye and three diamond fangs punch directly through the white form, with no outlines or shading doing extra work. The bluntness gives the mark a streetwear edge and keeps it legible at signage scale.

The expression slot rotates. The X eye swaps for a heart, dot, star or arrow, turning the logo into a system of moods rather than a fixed mark. Pet brands usually pick cute or premium, and the swap mechanic lets Russells run both.

A dimensional version hangs as a white blade sign on raw concrete, with the eye and fangs cut clean through the material. The execution proves Yago Ferreira drew the geometry for fabrication, not just for screen.

The whole identity runs on either pure black or another color at full saturation. Two-color discipline keeps the mark reading as luxury fashion, not a pet store sign.
