Miorița Vinars, a flagship release from Beciul Domnesc, worked with Giantpencil Design Studio to refresh its packaging while staying rooted in long-held craft traditions. The update leans on deep black labels, warm amber liquid, and restrained gold foil, creating a sense of age and confidence that reads clearly on shelf.

Traditional Romanian patterns appear as fine, woven-style bands and geometric detailing, paired with serif typography and a centered, symmetrical layout. Consistent bottle shapes and label architecture bring the V.S., V.S.O.P., and X.O. expressions together as a unified premium range, reinforcing a top-shelf presence without overstatement.

Based in Bucharest, Giantpencil Design Studio is an independent practice led by a multidisciplinary designer with a background spanning marketing, copywriting, philosophy, and graphic design.
