- Project Brief: Create a campaign that celebrates the emotional connection, excitement, and unity inspired by football fandom.
The third film in a trilogy has the hardest job: the emotion has already been introduced, the product has already appeared, and the audience already knows what the campaign is doing. "No Better Feeling" solves that by giving the screen to the fans and using the celebrity talent as texture rather than the main event.
Mourinho in a watch party, J Balvin in the crowd, Peter Drury calling a goal from someone's rooftop: none of them are the subject. They are just people watching football, which is the most honest thing a brand film can do with that much talent on the call sheet.
The refrigerator shot is the one moment the product steps forward, a fan reaching through the bottles like he is raiding someone else's fridge. It is over in two seconds, which is exactly how long it needs to be.
By the third film, Coca-Cola red has shown up in enough jerseys, flags and bottle caps that the brand no longer needs to announce itself. The color does the work, and the film gets to just be about the feeling.
