- Project Brief: Create a website that highlights AFA’s football technology initiatives and supports player development, coaching, and performance analysis.
A sports website for a national football association usually buries news under a fixture grid. Proyectar inverts that for AFA, leading with editorial and pushing scores into secondary nav, which positions the federation as a publisher first and a record-keeper second.
The primary nav splits Institutional, News, Statistics, Development, Documents and Federal Council. The structure separates fan content from federation governance, so journalists, club affiliates and casual visitors each get a clear path.
Layout carries the UX. The homepage pairs a two-thirds hero story with a five-item sidebar queue, the News page runs a category filter plus a Recently Published timeline rail, and the Titles slider uses thin SVG trophy outlines that load instantly during match-day traffic spikes.
Motion stays purposeful. Hover states on news cards, a sticky header search and slider controls handle interaction, which lets the site carry FIFA badging, the adidas sponsor lockup and social handles without the homepage tipping into clutter.
