- Project Brief: Design a portfolio website that showcases Beaucoup’s multidisciplinary work across branding, web, e-commerce, and digital experiences.
A portfolio website for a studio should sell taste before it sells services. Beaucoup Studio builds its own site as a stack of cream cards with perforated stamp-edge borders, floating against a flat electric blue field.
The wordmark sets the tone in heavy blackletter, paired with a large modern serif for headlines like "A selection of beautiful stories, the memorable ones." The contrast lets the site feel both gothic-print and contemporary editorial without picking a lane.
The menu screen flips the palette to pure black with a stacked list of Works, Services, Studio and Contact, with the active item set in bright white and the rest dropped to dim gray. A small EN/FR toggle in the corner handles the bilingual switch for the Lyon studio.
Project tiles like Anima float full-bleed against soft gray, with serifs sitting behind 3D photographic objects rather than over them. A sunburst "See Our Work" pill anchors the homepage, giving the visitor one CTA instead of a row of options.
