Michele Salati's Instagrampier represents an awesome photographic project and the final tribute to the iconic Instagram Pier in Hong Kong. The website lets you roam a clean and simple gray 3D model of the pier with thousands of visual elements on its surface.
The visuals feature random illustrations like animals, sun, and stars, among other objects. It also has many clickable cutouts of people in random poses and situations. If you click on a cutout, it expands into a real-life photo taken on the pier, letting you relive people's treasured moments. Not only that, realistic sound clips like chitchat and the sound of waves crashing also begin to play as if you're on the pier yourself.
