- Project Brief: Create a medical and pharmaceutical website that makes Kincell Bio’s complex cell therapy services easier to explore through interactive storytelling, visual content, structured UX, and search-focused architecture.
A medical and pharmacy website in the CDMO space carries a heavy load of jargon, CMC, analytics, process development, chain of custody. RainCastle built Kincell Bio to carry all of it without reading like a spec sheet and leaned on video, interaction, and chunked visuals to make the science navigable.
The homepage opens on a full-screen background video of the science in motion. "Tomorrow's Cures. Developed. Delivered." sits over drifting cell imagery, so the page signals innovation before it explains a single service.
The design runs on deep blue with bright cell-shaped blobs in purple, magenta, and yellow. Organic blob graphics stand in for cells throughout, so a clinical field gets warmth and motion rather than the usual sterile blue.
The development approach breaks into six digestible cards instead of a wall of copy. Target Product Profile, scale-out, DoE, analytics, risk management, and commercialization each get an icon and a short read, so a sponsor scans the method at a glance.
Capabilities live in a tabbed panel covering CMC, analytics, testing, and more. One click swaps the copy for process development, manufacturing, or tech transfer, so the full service range fits one section without a long scroll.
A dotted US map pins the two GMP facilities with photo popovers. Research Triangle Park and Gainesville each open an interior shot on hover, so a buyer sees the real plants behind the claims.
Insights and Updates surface webinars, press, and infographics in a rotating rail. Cards link straight to a watch, read, or download action, so the site proves thought leadership without a detour to a separate blog.
An FAQ accordion answers the real questions a sponsor types into search. Entries on characterization versus release testing and potency assay development fold open on click, which feeds organic discovery while keeping the page tidy.
The architecture builds dedicated pages around services, modalities, and development stages. Internal linking follows the terms a CDMO buyer actually searches, so depth for Google never crowds the visual experience.
The whole page keeps changing its visual rhythm to hold attention. Animation, layered imagery, and varied layouts alternate section to section, so dense material lands in short takes rather than long stretches of text.
The achievement is making a jargon-heavy CDMO feel approachable. Kincell reads as credible and human at once, which is what keeps a sponsor scrolling through science that would sink a plainer site.
