- Project Brief: Design a beverage website that showcases La Revoltosa’s products while communicating its distinctive brand story and identity.
A beverage website should commit to the product's actual personality, not dress it up in marketing gloss. Waka's site for La Revoltosa drops visitors into a saturated red field with the brand's vintage swing-top bottle floating dead center.
A white-line illustration of a woman in cat-eye sunglasses carries the rest of the homepage, swigging from the bottle across scroll sections. The character does the brand's selling, giving La Revoltosa a face that matches the rebellious "revoltosa" naming.
The UX runs on first-person voice, with the brand narrating its own story instead of describing itself in third person. Each section ends with a single CTA like Discover My Drinks or My People, keeping the user journey linear and free of decision fatigue.
Navigation hides in a pill-shaped menu icon in the top right, keeping the canvas clean while the scroll carries each section forward. Motion stays subtle, with bubble icons drifting across the corners and buoyant transitions that mimic carbonation rising through the glass, and the system holds together because Waka built it around the bottle's existing graphic language.
