- Project Brief: Redesign a portfolio website to showcase immersive digital experiences through motion, technology, and refined UX.
A portfolio website makes its argument the moment the page loads. Sidewave's own digital identity does that by treating the browser as a 3D stage rather than a canvas, building an environment that moves and responds like something with its own internal physics.
Monolithic forms guide the eye through cosmic environments that shift between deep galactic purples and warm desert golds. The transitions earn the term immersive without overpromising it. Metadata-style typography runs through the layouts as a grounding element, keeping the surrealism legible rather than decorative.
Scroll-jacking and real-time WebGL transitions replace pagination with something closer to a camera move: purposeful, weighted, and hard to rush. The "Company" and "Services" sections don't ask to be clicked through so much as traversed.
Sidewave makes the portfolio the pitch. By the time a prospective client has moved through the site once, the question of whether the studio can build something extraordinary has already been answered.
