We reached an impasse with this developer due to his team’s inability to complete a critical deliverable of the job they were contracted to do. When they tendered for the project they gave us full confidence they were able to complete the required tasks, informing us that they had completed work on similar applications for another industry. And that they would have this project easily completed and uploaded onto the app store over a year ago now. Unfortunately we made the mistake for paying for a milestone which included the most critical development work of the project, after promises they were close and further payment would allow them to move on with other work. However, they never progressed the critical milestone and now after a year-long delay in delivering this contract, and no confirmation they even can complete it, we have cancelled it. When we requested a refund, their response was to agree that while they did not deliver on the critical part of the development, every project involves risks, and we both must share in those uncertainties. If there was a risk they could not deliver then this should have been clearly stated from the outset. Instead we were told ‘Yes, we can easily develop & upload it to the app store’. They also told us they tried hard, and therefore deserved to be paid. We weren’t paying for this company to try, we were paying for them to deliver, and they failed. Would not recommend Revolve AI at all. They do a great sell at the beginning, but you cannot trust them to deliver.
