We contracted with them to customise and deliver a white-label ride-hailing app. They presented to us their developed app and told us it was operating in the UK and Africa as well. We made the deal and they started the customisation. Our requirement was to deliver two models, private and ride sharing for both iOS and Android and the estimated delivery was 12 weeks.It has taken them endless time to deliver the first model (Private) with bugs and issues which they persistently failed to recover. The second model (Ride-sharing) not even started developing. One more shame and big issue that they made coding mistake that caused Google to bill us over £1000. This was admitted a mistake by them and agreed to pay it, but we eventually paid it ourselves to Google as they ignored responding to us. We made one big mistake that trusted this company and its directors.

They promised to deliver a fully functioning app that contained all the content I required for a fixed budget. Once completing only 10% of the content, they mentioned that they had run out of funds and that they couldn't proceed with completing the app unless I gave them more of a budget. Please stay clear. Save your business, they have ruined mine.Funny how they've said they've tried to resolve the issue but have been ignoring all emails I have sent for the past 6 weeks. Disgraceful. I'm now taking this to court.

Really disappointing experience. Unfortunately I never got the chance to work with the company, so can't speak on their work, but from the first meeting i knew they were not for me. I was excited to speak with Andy as I saw Shape have great reviews and l really liked their website and culture. I had a few one line short emails when discussing time to arrange the call- but i assumed that may just be how they communicated.I then had a call with Andy and honestly he looked like he wanted to be be anywhere but there. He was quick to get us off the call, talking to others during the call, his tone was patronizing and my sister and i feel like we were wasting his time. He threw around big numbers i assume to scare us off (it didn't, we have it) and was in general very cold. I'm not someone who can separate craft from the person, and i'm definitely not putting money into a company if i'm not treated well. I was shocked also as this is behaviour from the co founder?...As a young Black female entrepreneur, i've had my fair share of negative experiences- but i was shocked to feel so sidelined by a company i was looking forward to working with. I don't know if it's ego, but please refrain from saying you are keen to work with small/budding businesses when you act like we are wasting your time. I had a call with another company shortly after & the experience was vastly different. I'm sure if i was from a big brand, the call would have gone very differently.

I recently had an experience back in 2022 with Apadmi that I feel compelled to share and have debated whether i should post this. As a professional eagerly looking forward to an interview with Apadmi, I was unfortunately met with a series of disappointments.Firstly, the structured process I was initially promised for the interview was not adhered to. This lack of organisation not only threw me off but also made it challenging to present myself effectively and forced to do a presentation in less than 24 hours notice.More concerning, however, was my interaction with the Managing Director, not sure if he is still there. I found his demeanour not just unprofessional but outright rude. This was disheartening, especially coming from a leadership figure in a reputable company. I've actually never been so humiliated in the professional environment.It's important for companies to remember that interviews are a two-way process. They are not just about evaluating candidates, but also about demonstrating the company's values and culture. Unfortunately, my experience with Apadmi fell short of the professional standards one would expect, however i would say Marcus, one of the board members was a delight in my first stage.I hope my feedback is taken constructively, as it is intended to highlight areas where there is significant room for improvement in how Apadmi manages its recruitment process and senior staff interactions.
