I had to go find an agency that could actually get results for us online. I talked to probably 9 different agencies and they all kind of seemed the same. The people I spoke with knew enough, but didn't give me the impression that they were confident in their ability to get the visibility we needed online. This is such a disappointing task for me to take time out of my day to do, but I am frustrated, discouraged, and angry.In August of 2024, John sent out an email with an offer to make a new website for a special price of $2,850. I responded to this email, and he promptly emailed me over an agreement that I signed. Several days later while I was on vacation, he began texting me about the payment agreement so that he could collect payment. I apologized, and upon my vacation return, I immediately signed the payment agreement. On August 19, 2024, John ran my card in the amount of $2,850. Since then, nothing has been done.Over 2 months after I paid, John emailed me with a- "So sorry, thought this went out already", where he asked me to pick my website template. I did this. In January, I began to become concerned and started to email, call, and text him. John only ever responded once, in March, apologizing that he missed the emails and asked about setting up a time to meet. I responded immediately about doing so, and he has never responded. Since then, I have made repeated attempts to contact him, even directly on Instagram and commenting on an Instagram post, which has has since deleted.I have time and time again asked for my money back and he has not responded to me. To be clear, again, John ran my card in the amount of $2,850 and has done absolutely no work since August of 2024; it is now May of 2025.This is theft, and I fully plan on recouping my money. I am hopeful that this Google review elicits a response from him, and that he gives me back my money so that I can have my website redone. I can only assume judging by others' reviews that he was short on cash, put out an email blast in hoping to get some quick money (provided that he texted me several times asking that I pay while I was on vacation), and clearly has no intention of doing the work. This is repulsive business behavior. I would expect this out of larger company, but not a fellow, local small business owner. I cannot in good faith ever, under any circumstances, recommend him for his professional services.John, after you read this, give me my money back that you took. You have not provided any services and I have no intention of working with you. If you fail to pay me back, I WILL be taking legal action. "
