Our experience with this company was disappointing and unprofessional. The VP began a sales pitch without introductions or explaining the purpose of the call. The first 5 minutes consisted of multiple sports analogies then shifted to him showing my experienced marketing team how Google AI search works... When we didn't take the bait, he began to fire off search acronyms asking my digital marketing manager to give him definitions. When we declined to participate in his impromptu quiz — he got noticeably agitated and said, “Well, it looks like you’ve got it all covered....” And then abruptly ended the Zoom. I’ve worked in marketing and leadership for over 20 years, and I’ve never seen a salesperson hang up on a potential client mid-pitch. In addition, the meeting was pitched under false pretenses stating that their work was related to the US conference of mayors; not SEO or AEO.Ultimately, the interaction was disrespectful, highly unprofessional and a huge waste of time for our team. It is very obvious this company makes their money on people with no marketing experience.Update - It would not be fair for me to not add that the President of the company did reach out to me personally (10/19) to apologize for the interaction. "
