When I started, I knew I wanted to do work I enjoyed that allowed me to use ALL of my creativity, strategic thinking, and unique skill set to help self-proclaimed “non-techy” business owners win online.
I’ve always wanted to be a resource for other small business owners and freelancers whenever I could.
I began my entrepreneurial journey as a high school teen when painting and selling wooden furniture at a local shop in downtown Troy, NY. I did that for three years and then moved on to continue my studies as a classically trained artist and illustrator at Sage College of Albany.
I started my first design business, AK Design, while still in college.
In the years that passed, I worked with Cengage Learning, The American Museum of Natural History, YWCA, The Susan G. Komen Foundation, WAMC Northeast Public Radio, and many more.
I’m married with two children, and have a continuous zeal for learning, creating, and reading. Some of my favorite authors are Jim Rohn, Napoleon Hill, and Alan Dibb.
