Intentional is a Melbourne growth consultancy for founder-led, design-oriented consumer brands whose growth has plateaued.

Most agencies force a choice between brand marketing and performance marketing. Intentional rejects that choice. We diagnose what's actually stalling growth, often a brand and positioning problem showing up as a performance metric, then build the brand and creative system to fix it, and prove it in market working alongside your in-house team.

The approach starts with diagnosis, not a media plan: understanding where a brand is genuinely stuck, whether that's measurement, the acquisition model, creative strategy, brand and storytelling, or expansion, before recommending where to invest. For most growth-stage consumer brands, that means weighting spend toward brand rather than defaulting everything to lower-funnel performance media.

Intentional isn't advisory-only. Alongside diagnosis and strategy, we produce the creative and run the campaigns ourselves, content, ads, brand and campaign execution, so the strategy actually reaches market instead of sitting in a deck.

We work with founder-led consumer brands, typically $2M-$60M in revenue, who already have some marketing in place but have hit a growth ceiling their current model can't explain or fix. We also work alongside brands that already have in-house performance and creative teams, acting as the strategy and coaching layer they're missing.
