Not only do I have 10+ years of experience in all kinds of web, print, and branding design, but Ive been called a unicorn for my ability to work in all kinds of illustration styles. Creating clarity through design is a fine art I have refined through working with freelance clients and employers including Yahoo, Squat New York, Stride K12, OpenX, Rule29, and more. I excel in articulating reasoning for my choices for the client throughout the design process, from concepts, to iterations, to final product. In my time outside of work, I love practicing Spanish, painting, spending time with neighbors and friends in the diverse city of Durham, NC, cycling around town, comedy podcasts, my local church, drawing in local coffee shops, and watching any show about British people revitalizing old houses that I can get my eyes on.
