I originally started Oregon Marketing Group in 2006 with the purpose of changing my life from what it currently was at the time. I had a janitorial company cleaning movie theaters & work was 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Movie theaters never close. We started OMG under a different name that no one understood and was not easily recognizable as to what services we provided. In 2011 we rebranded to Oregon Marketing Group with a clear message and purpose. When we say we understand the branding process & how it affects business we mean it because we went through it ourselves. The original services we offered were website development, social media & Google-Bing-Yahoo-AOL Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We later added photo & video services in 2012. We had been selling services individually one at a time based on that client’s need until we developed our monthly management model. We found over the years that when a client had so many different & distant 3rd party companies trying to do things that it diluted their brand efforts & it mainly paid for the sales people who didn't really know what was going on or how to help the client succeed. Those 3rd party companies would outsource the work to "cheaper" places across the world and mark up the work. They wouldn't be very responsive to the client, as they were not local. We saw this over and over, so we developed a one stop creative agency service for small business that covers all the areas a business needs. All work is done in house & locally. We prefer to know our clients personally & work with them to get the results they are seeking.
