I worked with Small Films on a short film for Birkbeck exploring the science behind the teenage brain. From the start Small Films were amazing. They instantly got to grips with the complex subject matter, creating a really lovely script from a lot of detailed information. They came up with a great concept for the film, using a mix of presenter-led pieces to camera, filmed footage with teenagers and then simple but fun stick man animations. It was super impressive the way they totally “got us” and the brief and created something that i never would have thought of and that was perfect. The film has been received incredibly well and I keep meeting people form different institutions who have seen, love it and use it. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They’re also just a really nice team and fun to work with! "
