As a full-time real estate professional with over 20 years in the industry, I had high hopes when signing on with Ylopo. Unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelmingly negative, and I cannot in good conscience recommend their services to other agents or teams.There were two major issues:1. The AI Texting Platform Hurt My Business:Ylopo made changes to their AI texting policy without properly notifying users or offering sufficient control. As a result, messages were sent to my personal database in ways that came off as spammy and intrusive. Several contacts I’ve nurtured over years asked me to never contact them again. These were real potential clients whose trust I had earned—and it was quickly lost because of Ylopo’s system.2. Google Local Services Program Was a Total Miss:We enrolled in Ylopo’s Google Local Services program with the expectation of a steady flow of high-quality leads. After months of ongoing adjustments and support calls, the results were extremely underwhelming. We received very few leads, and not a single one turned into an actual buyer or seller. It was a drain on both our time and marketing budget.Lack of Accountability and Inflexibility:After explaining these issues and the damage done, I requested a reduction of the 90-day cancellation policy to 30 days. Ylopo declined, despite the clear evidence that their own platform caused problems for my business. Instead of owning the impact, they stuck to rigid contract terms—even though the service is technically month-to-month.In short, Ylopo overpromised and underdelivered. I signed up to grow my business and ended up spending more time doing damage control than generating results. I rarely leave negative reviews, but other real estate professionals deserve to know what they’re walking into.If you're considering Ylopo, proceed with caution. "

Our team partnered with Ylopo for two years, hopeful that its platform would support our efforts in targeting luxury real estate buyers. Unfortunately, we struggled to achieve a satisfactory return on investment. While the platform shows promise and clearly works well for many, it didn’t align with the unique needs of our business.One of our primary challenges was lead quality. Despite our targeting parameters, many of the Facebook-generated leads were not aligned with our luxury market segment, often resulting in mismatches between the prospects and the properties we represent. Efforts to resolve this were ongoing but hampered by frequent turnover in account managers, which disrupted continuity and made it difficult to build momentum with a consistent strategy.Another area of concern was the inability to tailor lead engagement based on price points. Prospective clients were frequently shown multi-million-dollar listings far beyond their actual budgets, leading to confusion and inefficiency. Additionally, the web portal, while functional, often felt outdated and clunky. The one-size-fits-all approach appeared to be a compromise that didn’t effectively accommodate the nuances of different MLS systems nationwide.We also found the AI assistant, Raya, to be somewhat inflexible. While automation is a valuable tool, many of our prospects found the text engagement overwhelming and chose to opt out. The inability to fine-tune these engagement settings meant that valuable leads were lost prematurely, often before we had the chance to nurture them properly.We truly wanted this platform to work for us, and we believe it can be a powerful tool for the right team—particularly one with the resources to manage the platform’s demands and fill in the operational gaps. While our experience fell short of expectations, we recognize the innovation behind Ylopo and hope that with continued development, it evolves into a more adaptable solution for a broader range of real estate professionals. "
