- Project Brief: Create a logo that reflects Belle&George’s European design identity, craftsmanship values, and warm approach to modern living.
A logo for a European design house succeeds when it anchors its project in a sense of refuge and craftsmanship. Abmo achieves this for Belle&George by creating a visual identity that reflects a passion for the art of living and the beauty of imperfection.
Cobalt blues and terracotta reds signal a design house with a point of view. A custom lettermark sits inside that palette as the anchor, offbeat enough to be memorable and refined enough to hold its ground. French roots and a modern Art Deco influence run through the mark without either one announcing itself too loudly.
Fluid, overlapping linework and refined typography give every brand element the quality of something drawn rather than assembled. The identity settles into the same stillness it was designed to evoke, a visual language that feels like a space worth staying in rather than passing through.
Belle&George lands as an alternative to the standardized design aesthetic that dominates the category, and the lettermark makes that case before anyone reads the name. Abmo builds an identity that celebrates the joy of well-made work by being an example of it.
