Designed by Necula Creative and 3D visualized by RenderLab® Studio Inc., this project for the skincare brand Authentic Ego is a study in creating a portfolio of assets that feel both editorial and technical.
RenderLab®'s material rendering is incredibly photorealistic. The matte finish of the bottles, the texture of the cartons, and the highlights are minimal and very carefully controlled to look completely natural.
Recreating this kind of tactile realism in 3D is incredibly difficult. It requires a deep understanding of how light behaves.
According to a 2023 study, 61% of shoppers report being more likely to buy a product again if it is presented in premium packaging. For this project in particular, this level of detail is what separates a good render from a great one.

Additionally, each render is orchestrated with a soft, directional lighting that creates subtle contrast and enhances a sense of depth.
As the light spills across the scene diagonally, the skincare packaging casts elongated shadows that highlight the beveled edges of the boxes. This lighting helps to dramatize the form of the products while still revealing all the important design details.

Across all the compositions, RenderLab® Studio Inc. adheres to a clean, editorial layout strategy with the products arranged in minimalist stacks in vertical and horizontal alignment.
This type of spatial intentionality is what separates functional renderings from truly cinematic product imagery. It maximizes the focus on key brand identifiers. It also supports the modular use of these visuals in different campaigns.
