  • Project Brief: Design branding and packaging for Maybe Energy that communicates clean, fruit-forward energy through vibrant visuals, playful messaging, and approachable design.

Beverage packaging usually screams for attention with the loudest color it can find. Maybe goes the other way, sitting a warm cream can in a category of chrome and neon so it reads calm on a shelf built to shout.

The name carries the whole personality. "Maybe" gets set in a soft, rounded wordmark and paired with lines like "Maybe It'll All Work Out," which turns an energy drink into something optimistic and low-pressure instead of aggressive.

Flavor color does the sorting work. A single bright hue per variant, magenta for Cherry Berry, green for Lemon Lime, orange for Orange Guava, plays against the neutral base, so a shopper spots the flavor fast without the can losing its calm.

Young Jerks holds the system together with cut-paper fruit art and one consistent layout across cans and the four-pack box. That repetition gives Maybe a real shelf presence, and the "functional clean energy, real fruit, no weird stuff" copy backs the friendly look with a clear reason to buy.
