  • Project Brief: Design a personal website that showcases Trevor Noah's work through intuitive navigation, editorial storytelling, responsive performance, and a polished visual identity that strengthens his global personal brand.

A personal website for an entertainer should sound like the person, not a press kit. Trevor Noah's site nails that by treating his own head as the interface, cracking it open like a torn-paper collage spilling out a mic, a book, and a video player.

The hero sets the whole tone. His portrait tears across the forehead and the tools of his career pour out, so the site says entertainer, author, and host in one image before a word of copy.

The voice carries into the small moments. Speech bubbles like "What now?" and "Leaving so soon?" pin to his photo, and section labels read "About This Guy" rather than the usual corporate menu.

Juror Limor Baram found the likeness convincing, describing an "expressive visual language" and "dynamic storytelling" that "capture Trevor Noah's personality beautifully."

Off+Brand kept the structure clean under all that play, with a numbered nav and a bold pink-on-navy palette holding it together. That balance is the point, a site loose enough to feel like his comedy but ordered enough to find a tour date fast. Baram named the same equilibrium from the user's side: "the clear structure keeps the experience intuitive and purposeful. Creativity and usability work together seamlessly here."

Discipline shows up in what the site leaves out, too.

The brief put responsive performance alongside storytelling as a goal, and juror Orçun Iybar found the two treated as one job: "There's no unnecessary animation or over-engineered interaction, just strong typography, imagery, spacing, and a clear visual direction." He read speed as a design decision rather than a technical afterthought, and landed on the rarest compliment in the set: a site that "feels modern without trying too hard."
