Wells Coleman & Co is the absolute best, and here's why:The first time I walked into the Wells Coleman & Co offices, it was 2009 and my mother had just passed away. My broker had recommended them to me and that was the best thing to ever happen to me. Being such an emotional time in my life, they were quick to explain everything very thoroughly to me no matter how many times I needed to be reminded of the steps I needed to take. They were the perfect teachers, the perfect caring company, honest in every way, and had the patience of Job with me. Now it's 6 years later, and I still wouldn't trade them for the world. They are the epitome of perfection in all aspects of accounting and in the personal touch with all of their clients. I highly recommend them not only to my friends but to you, the readers of this review. They deserve an A+++++.

Honestly unacceptable. My appointment was cancelled at the exact time it was supposed to start, with no call, just an email from the accountant Sunith Varkey at the appointment time saying « Hi MaryApologies, we are unable to take on new tax filing requests at this stage of tax season.The filing deadline is in 2 days. »A complete lack of respect for clients’ time.There was also zero warning of cancellation from the person who scheduled the appointment. This is even more frustrating considering I wasn’t asking for a full service, just a bit of guidance on a specific issue. Sunith did not even consider to take time to know why I was reaching out.With an important deadline just two days away, this level of unprofessionalism is shocking. If you value your time and expect basic professionalism, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Acuity Bookkeeping and Accounting ServicesI hired Acuity to help with bookkeeping and accounting, but the results were frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of properly categorizing transactions and providing accurate reports, almost everything was labeled as "uncategorized," making the books completely unreliable.They set up several automated apps that required me to pay extra subscription fees. None of these tools integrated correctly, and they only made the situation more confusing. Rather than helping me gain financial clarity, their system created more problems and wasted both time and money.I was hoping for experienced support and clean financial records, but what I received was a disorganized mess. I would not recommend Acuity to anyone looking for dependable accounting services.

Abby is the BEST, most-knowledgable controller and so easy to communicate with regardless of your inherent accounting knowledge. Acuity has been transformational in moving our financial statements from super lumpy, cash basis to accrual. Amidst our work together, she's been willing to work through low-level transactional work with a smile as well as offering a high-level consultative look at our business, big picture.
