To say that Mixology Post is THE place for all your sound needs would be an understatement. Rob Kahn, the Owner and Executive Creative Director is as modest and down-to-earth as he is exceptionally talented and professional. In numerous collaborations over the years, Rob and his team have always surpassed expectations. They deliver on time, on budget, and on brief. They do everything from original music composition, sound design, sound editing, branding, commercial, experiential, narrative work... they do it all. And do it with utmost passion, care, and precision! They're really easy to work with and always bring fresh ideas to a project, big or small. Mixology's client list is a veritable who's who of industry leaders and media brands: HBO, NBCUniversal, National Geographic, Sundance, Nike, and ESPN to name just a few. But don't let their prestige discourage you: Rob is super nice and he's always willing to work with your budget. Rob and Mixology Post are my first and last resort for our sound work. Phenomenal.

I was contacted via email by a gentleman who claimed to be from this company. Of course doing my due diligence, I decided to contact Volt Studios to confirm whether or not I had been talking to a legitimate company representative (an idea I thought Volt would welcome, as it is always good to know if people are impersonating officials to prevent scams to valued clients). The person I spoke with was (1) rude and (2) hung up on me three successive times. I want to assume I was just unlucky to have been connected to the wrong individual, considering the positive ratings on the profile.

Google only gives you the options of Good Quality, Good Value, Professional, Responsive. These ratings are vastly inadequate when I think of the work I've done with VOLT since they first opened their doors. Fabulous Quality, Excellent Value, Extremely Professional and Hyper Responsive. A very “regular" experience like summer camp is even more meaningful for kids with unique medical conditions. Since 2010 Camp LUCK has provided a positive experience that helps everyone reach their potential by building self-esteem, friendships and character in a safe environment. We want our “heart kids” to be “regular kids” for a week and participate in awesome activities that they might not normally be able to. Episode 11 volunteered to capture that experience — and did so — through the words and pictures of some of our campers. The campers’ candid interviews are a powerful reminder of what Camp LUCK means to these kids and their families. And without question, the video documents how much fun they have just being kids.

Jim from Blue Ocean Productions recently helped my church with livestream issues that we've been having over the past year. The problem involved the video lagging significantly behind the audio with the lag getting progressively worse throughout the duration of the stream. Jim was brought in to diagnose the issue, and after sending him some information about our set-up, computer specs, etc., he was able to spend a couple of hours with me and another church elder testing various settings in the streaming software, OBS, as well as other settings for the computer, mixer and wireless microphone. Ultimately, we determined that we'll need a more powerful PC, but Jim was able to help us adjust certain settings so that we can have a stable video stream with synced audio. The ultimate test will be this Sunday when we stream our church service for 60+ minutes, but we're optimistic that the help Jim provided will lead to success. Jim was knowledgeable, kind and patient throughout this process, and I would recommend his company to anyone looking for some tech support.
