No names no whistle just a honest google review. Makes me wonder what an accountant does, cooking books or AICPA reporting them. No mark up in my basis. We engaged Clarit-e to help us produce detailed business process maps for cross-agency processes and projects in the rail transport/government sectors. The deliverables exceeded expectation and are useful beyond what we initially sought them for. It's frustrating that what was initially communicated as a 60-day administration process for Hills Ltd back in June 2023 has now stretched nearly a year later with no resolution in sight. The promised dividend payout, initially slated for early January 2024, has been repeatedly postponed, first to April 12th, and now to May 29th, 2024. It appears that Cindy Chen and her associates at Hall Chadwick are dragging their feet, prolonging the situation to their own advantage. Such behavior warrants scrutiny, and ASIC should consider investigating them for potential misconduct.

Do not use this company. They inflate the final fee from the original estimate without providing any warning. In my case by more than 50% and they do not apply CPA standards consistently to valuations. I found the valuator to be arrogant and evasive when asked to substantiate the numbers provided noting the variation to date exceeds 500% from the model provided to the ATO accepted data.

Was owed money as a creditor. They sold assets for pennies on the dollar to "employees" of the company being liquidated. Was calling for years with no updates or responses. They decided to prioritise creditors such as banks above the contractors. Such a low blow on society when the banks lend crooks money and manage to claw most of it back and independent contractors are stuck footing the bill. Not sure how you sleep at night destroying people's livelihoods. A fairer system would be to pay back everybody proportionately. If you recover 30% then give 30% back to all the creditors, don't just pay back the VIPs and give the workers nothing. Why are millionaire bankers more important then the working class!

As an accounting firm I would give them 1 star. I recently discovered a litany of deductions they failed to consider. You will be given an EA, which is just a glorified tax preparer. They will know nothing and be slow to reply. You might as well get your taxes done by H&R block or a proper independent CPA. If these folks do your taxes, get prepared for a larger tax bill. I strongly advise against it.
