My experience with the interview process was mixed.I successfully cleared multiple rounds, including HR, technical/practical assessments, and a final discussion with the HOD. I was also asked to bring all my documents for the final round, which created the expectation that the process was nearing completion.The main concern was the interview planning and communication. Multiple candidates appeared to be scheduled around the same time, which resulted in long waiting periods. After my final discussion, I waited for more than an hour while other interviews were still ongoing. Considering that candidates often take leave from their current jobs and invest their time and travel expenses to attend interviews, better scheduling and communication would have been appreciated.I had taken approximately 1.5 days of leave to participate in the process. Despite completing several rounds, I was informed that the company wanted to further evaluate candidates before making a decision. While I eventually received feedback, it was not shared on the same day as indicated, which made the process feel unnecessarily prolonged.To the company's credit, the final feedback was professional and detailed. However, the overall candidate experience could be improved through better time management, clearer communication, and more structured interview scheduling.My advice to future candidates and potential joiners is to thoroughly research the company, read genuine employee reviews, and speak with current or former employees before making a decision. An interview process is often the first impression of an organization's culture and working style.Sharing my experience to help others set expectations and make an informed decision.

Jamie, the dispatcher was prompt and communicative.I sent my Epson 5040UBE home theater projector to Great Lakes as they are an authorized repair center. After sending it in for a $100 estimate September 12, on October 13 I received word that my barely used $3000 projector was not worth repairing. I requested its return. All in, $180 wasted.But this projector has known issues, according to the blogs.Time for a second opinion from a center in Texas. The same day they received it I was quoted $629 for parts and a flat $100 for labor for the 'simple" fix. It'll be back in 3 days.Lesson learned.

For a larger company that needs a complete managed service with a lot of employees maybe they are better suited? For a small company sales office like mine, with only 5 employees they were nothing short a nightmare. Techs were all great and very professional. Their billing department and their overall communication were terrible. Their sales team sold us products we never needed and they never followed up on things we actually wanted done. We asked them to address modernizing our office , setting up a cloud based server. Never happened. We had a 15 year old data server with less than 500 Gigs of data on it. We signed up with them in May 2023. We wanted their "monitored" pay as you go service, I asked them to provide what charges would be to set up a cloud based data server based on their own sales team suggestion before we signed up. After 3 attempts over several months, I was finally notified in August they would need to charge us 8 hours of billed time to provide what was needed to do that. This was after they already onboarded us and already had inventory of what we had. Having friends in the IT industry they told me something just didn't sound right and this forced me to educate myself on Microsoft 365 services, which we were already paying for I might add. I came to find out they basically wanted $1200 of extra charges just to tell us to move our data to SharePoint. They sold us an email filter program that they set up and installed which ended up blocking legit emails for our business, then when we needed to get those emails sent to our inbox they charged us billing time to do it, then charged us AGAIN to remove the program entirely when they installed and set up the program and it never worked. They opened tickets on our 15 year data server we were never told about, and then billed us time out of our hours block without ever notifying us about it until we saw the bill. Ultimately over 4 weeks time I moved all our data to SharePoint myself, removed our old data server from our network. Our Microsoft accounts were upgraded and all our employees can now work remotely if they chose with file access anywhere with all the benefits of Microsoft defender and malware endpoint security which has been configured also by myself ( Keep in mind I don’t consider myself an IT expert by any means and was able to do all this on my own with a little bit of research). We’re getting almost no email spam now and our dependency on a 15 year old data server is gone. Sadly this all came with no help from Verity IT and instead thousands of extra dollars in fees for things we never needed that could have been avoided. Now 3 months since terminating our relationship our office data sharing system runs flawlessly and we have had not 1 technical issue.

I brought my computer in because a hinge broke on my laptop and pulled out my wifi wire. I told them what was wrong with the computer and exactly that. They called me back and said it would require a $75 diagnostic fee to figure out what needs to be done. I responded with that I already know what needs to be done and no diagnostic will be required. So I picked up my computer and they told me it would be 2-3 hours of labor to fix (even though they did not "diagnose" it). Obviously they did in the 10 minutes that it had been dropped off. I took it home and with never have taking a laptop apart before, I fixed it in 40 minutes. They are just out for a buck and not the customer.

Had messed with the bios on my pc and wasn’t able to boot it up. I explained to Ken exactly what I did and he spent a while over the phone telling me what may fix it before bringing it to him. I eventually brought it over to him and he told me I needed a new motherboard. He then took the time to help me order a new one that was within my price range and would be comparable with my old one. Former employee- the beginning working relationships appears to be promising but what I learned was that their vendors were not prepared to provide onboarding credentials and training. Not to mention the company is very limited on company communication. It literally took 2-4 weeks for me to receive proper training and credentials. Not to mention the two vendors I was assigned being able to maintain employability of contract for a year. In the 2.5 years I was there I’ve been laid off twice and upon my 3rd assignment I had to take a pay cut. I decided to part ways and upon my existing they decided to switch my final check to paper instead of an electronic deposit without telling me. When I called / email the company to learn what had happen; I had to repeat my calls with no response back from them. When I finally spoke with HR I was I informed they need to ensure the return of company equipment. I was totally surprise, because no communication was conveyed to me, that they holding my payCheck. I’ve always been a loyal employee even with the 2 lay-offs, and decrease in pay. I never thought they would be ornery and be spiteful towards the end when they had me waiting on them for my return label to return the company equipment. I sent it back soon as I got the label, yet I am still waiting on my final paycheck which they have fail to confirm is in the mail. I worked at this company for a shot period of time and the review posted by former client is 100% accurate. Most of the people I met are super cool and many are super-talented. But the soft and managerial skills at the management level is not conducive of success, unfortunately. In the end, I realized how lucky I had been in my career so I was grateful for the eye-opener.

My development staff worked with HappyFunCorp over a multitude of times over the last year and their experience was that communications and the relationship on HFC's side was being conducted in an unprofessional manner compared to other providers we have worked with in the past several years of launching our newest venture.Due to these prior experiences, we have decided to cut our professional relationship with this software developer permanently. We we referred to them by another client, and at first we thought there was synergy, but that no longer seems the case as HFC is no longer following their values that at one time made them an industry leader.We will seek other options and there are far better developers our there for those seeking an alternative.
