Absolutely classless and unprofessional. The recruiter I talked to (Rashmi Tarale) was just about to submit me for consideration in a job (AFTER having gone through my entire resume with me), then proceeds to ask me about how much experience I have in the field overall. When she wasn't happy with my reply, she HUNG UP on me mid-conversation, and I haven't heard from anyone at Akraya since. Don't waste any of your time talking to these people, and don't risk giving your information to this scam of a firm.

I was contacted by Sameera Prabhakar | Sr. Technical Recruiter. She asked for the last 4 digits of my social security number and my date of birth before ever having an interview. After I declined, I never heard from her again. If this isn't a scam, it feels very unprofessional and sketchy.

I keep getting calls from them and its set up as a “collect call” type where I have to press 1 to accept etc. very strange. I would think trice before even considering working there or even having them find me meaningful work..just a bit shady ..

I have connected with this company a handful of times over the last few years regarding contract opportunities with [Nike] and consistently have a poor experience. There seems to be a lack of business etiquette from the recruiters here as calls are being made to candidates as early as 6a without prior scheduling.If you are an individual looking to contract with [Nike] or any company on the west coast, I highly encourage prospective candidates to partner with a local staffing agency who can offer a more tailored service.

My experience with Scion staffing was phenomenal. My recruiter took the time to get to know me as a person, learn my short term and long term goals prior to referring any possible positions for me. Once that position was referred, she was with me through every step of the interview process. She anticipated questions that may be asked and how best to prepare for them. Really, this was a 5/5 star experience all the way!
